Two weeks in Australia (No. 1)

First of all; I know I am such a copycat! I stole Meiji's idea, I know, I know! But, on the other hand, it was a great idea, so why shouldn't I steal it? Exactly! So, as you might you know - I spent my spring break in Australia. One week in Port Douglas and around the Great Barrier reef, and one week in Sydney. I had an awesome time, and I took almost three hundred pic during the trip. I will therefore share some of my favorite pictures with you (ten a day - I know I copied that part too!)..

This is the main street in Port Douglas (Such a big city right?), and this picture is taken the first morning we had in Australia.

Breakfast the first morning. Yummy... :)

Our hotel's pool, which was really nice, especially during the hotter days.

After some time in Japan it was like heaven to come to a real supermarket with real candy... Me and my brother tried nearly all the candy they had in the shop, and it was all so delicious!!

Home made breakfast for our second day in Port Douglas. It mainly contained of fresh fruit, but it was still really nice.

This is just too sweet! I just had to take a picture of this cute sign, cause it is just so different from Tokyo's Metro and train stations.... Isn't it adorable!?!?!?!

A beach stop after a short walk in the rainforest (!). Unfortunately we couldn't swim in the sea, due to stingers and sting-ray season... :(

Maybe a very dramatic picture, but I just wanted to try a new technique on my camera (soft focus), so I let my mom and her shoes be my object... ^^

SCARY! Crocodiles were swimming just in this river, though we didn't see them. Our guide told us that a few people had actually been eaten by the crocodiles, so no wonder why I was a little afraid of coming to close to the water.

Well, this is it, for my first ten pics, but tomorrow or some other day I will continue to update you about this wonderful trip!! I hope you will have a good day, - Lotte :)
