Taking good action photos is very difficult, unless you have a very good camera, but there are some tips that will help you getting better shots - full of action!
First of all: Taking action photos is quite hard, so if you are a beginner, then try taking your photos during the day in the beginning, since it is harder to get clear photos if taking them during nighttime. After having chosen an objective which you want a photo of, you have to figure out how quickly your camera takes a photo after pressing the button (known as shutter lag). Some cameras take less than a second, while some take up to ten seconds, so if you haven't checked it out first, the risk of missing the moment, is big. If your camera takes quite a few seconds, then try pressing the button a few seconds ahead. Also try to get your object in the center of the photo, since that usually makes the final result better. When pressing the shutter button (the normal button), the camera gives the focus that would be if you took a photo in just that moment. By pressing this button gently down, all the time, you will be able to see when it is a good time to take a photo, and do thereby get good results. If it is a sunny day, it will be easier to have the sun behind, you since the object might not show as clearly in front of the sun. This is all information needed to get a good action shot, so now: be creative and try many different styles.. Good luck!

I hope you learnt something new!
